Choosing Your Colours

Choosing your colours is one of the most important thingsto consider, getting your colour scheme wrong can be disasterous.

From this wheel you can choose colours that either tone with your dress/theme or that contrast, which will also look fantastic. For instance, bright orange looks really modern and funky against purple (but isnt everybodies choice). A lighter tone of the purple colour gives a more subtle but equally effective look and would probably be a more popular choice.

Find the nearest colour to your dress/theme on the wheel. You will find the toning colours in the same section. For a complimentary colour you could look to either side of your chosen section. For a contrasting colour look at the opposite section of the wheel.

With very different colours, for instance with aqua blue, it is sometime better to play it safe and go for white, which will give you a very crisp, clean look. Or for the braver bride, cerise pink will gie you an extreemly modern and contemporary image.
